Support the Idaho Disaster Relief Fund
Red Cross volunteers are currently assisting victims of the huge 19 home fire in South East Boise last night. Emergency shelter, food, clothing, counseling and other services are being made available to those in need. When Idahoans experience disasters such as house fires, wild fires, floods, or earthquakes, the American Red Cross of Greater Idaho responds to their immediate needs. All services are provided free of charge, through the Idaho Disaster Relief Fund. There is no government funding and the Red Cross of Greater Idaho depends solely on generous contributions from citizens across our state. Last year your Idaho Chapter provided aid for 247 disasters, helping more than 808 individuals recover from house and apartment fires, flooding, wild fires, and more. Right here in your community immediate emergency housing, food for the victims and relief workers, clothing and vital disaster emotional counseling were provided for your neighbors stricken by these disasters. Volunteers are usually on the scene of the disaster before the emergency responders leave.
If you would like to assist us in making these critical services available to our friends and neighbors in their time of need.
